Specialty Development Services was founded in 2007 to solve a critical need.  Many Tax Software providers required custom software development that was outside of their primary focus. Because of the vast Income Tax industry knowledge our founders have obtained over the 30+ years within the industry both as Tax Professionals and Tax Software providers, we formed this company to help resolve some of the needs not provided by many of the Tax Software providers.

We saw a market where cost overruns, unmet expectations, and poorly written code were far too prevalent…and we wanted to build something that changed that image. We assembled a team of professionals that are passionate about making accurate evaluations, solving complex problems, and writing accurate, efficient code. All to make the process of building custom engineered software easy for our clients.
